Plaxo Leaks
I discovered that Plaxo leaks your private Facebook status updates….
I only use Plaxo because I have a good friend that ask me to sign up. A few months ago, Plaxo sent me a mail asking me if I wanted to link my Facebook account to my Plaxo account – it seemed like a good idea at the time.
Like many people, almost all of my Facebook info is only visible to people in my friends list – its not publicly visible. This includes my status updates.
Yesterday, I was updating my about page and added a link to my public Plaxo profile. I did this from a browser that wasn’t logged into Plaxo. What did I see? My private Facebook status!
Awesome, Plaxo silently exposes information I intended to not be openly public.
This is despite my privacy settings in Plaxo

I found a setting that looked like it would fix this, but it didn’t seem to work. Feh, Plaxo isn’t that important to me so I just deleted all the web connections.
